Baba Au Ruhm




Ingredients
  • Flour 4 cups
  • Dry Yeast 1 ½ tbsp
  • Eggs 6 nos
  • Sugar 1 oz
  • Raisins 25 grm
  • Currants 25 grm
  • Sugar 4 cups
  • Water 4 cups
  • Cinnamon sticks few
  • Jam 1 cup
  • Margarine / Butter 2 cups
Method
  1. Add soaked yeast (1/2-cup warm water and 1 tbsp sugar) in sifted flour
  2. Add eggs in it and beat with an electric beater for 10 minutes adding ½ cup water
  3. When become elastic pour melted butter on it
  4. Cover and keep on a warm place till it rise, add raisins and currant and mix well
  5. Fill this mixture in a mould (till half) and keep again for rise
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 400f for 25 – 30 minutes
  7. Make syrup with water, sugar and cinnamon, pour hot on Baba Au Ruhm
  8. Melt jam and pour hot on it
