Ingredients
- Flour 4 cups
- Dry Yeast 1 ½ tbsp
- Eggs 6 nos
- Sugar 1 oz
- Raisins 25 grm
- Currants 25 grm
- Sugar 4 cups
- Water 4 cups
- Cinnamon sticks few
- Jam 1 cup
- Margarine / Butter 2 cups
Method
- Add soaked yeast (1/2-cup warm water and 1 tbsp sugar) in sifted flour
- Add eggs in it and beat with an electric beater for 10 minutes adding ½ cup water
- When become elastic pour melted butter on it
- Cover and keep on a warm place till it rise, add raisins and currant and mix well
- Fill this mixture in a mould (till half) and keep again for rise
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400f for 25 – 30 minutes
- Make syrup with water, sugar and cinnamon, pour hot on Baba Au Ruhm
- Melt jam and pour hot on it
